Martita Marcano is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, dedicated to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care.

Martita earned her medical degree from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine and completed her specialty in Internal Medicine, followed by a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the Veterans Affairs Caribbean Healthcare System.

Her clinical interests include the management of chronic disease optimization, and the integration of preventive medicine into everyday clinical practice.She is deeply committed to prevention as a cornerstone of long-term health, with a focus on early intervention, patient education, and risk-factor modification. Her goal is to help patients not only recover from illness but also maintain and improve their overall well-being.

She believes that high-quality medical care begins with treating every patient with respect, compassion, and dignity. She prioritizes clear communication, cultural sensitivity, and collaborative decision-making to build strong therapeutic relationships rooted in trust.
