Dr. Edison Martinez is a dedicated and accomplished health care professional with a robust medical background spanning multiple countries. He began his medical career in Colombia graduating as a Doctor in Medicine and Surgeon from the School of Medicine Juan N Corpas University in the city of Bogotá in 1995, he developed extensive experience in Emergency Medicine, Trauma and Critical Care, working for several years in high-pressure hospital environments.

Driven to expand his professional horizons, Dr. Martinez moved to the United States where he pursued advanced medical training in Echocardiography and Nerve conduction studies.

He enrolled in the Foreign Physician to Family Nurse Practitioner program at Florida International University – South University and transitioned successfully into the role of a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with an autonomous license. He consistently delivers comprehensive and compassionate care to patients of all ages.

Throughout his career in the U.S., Edison has worked in several esteemed health care institutions, Including Aventura Hospital in Miami, University Hospital and Memorial West Hospital in Pembroke Pines FL. His experience in diverse clinical settings has reinforced his commitment to excellence in health care delivery and patient advocacy.

Edison is a proud husband and father of two sons. Outside of his professional life he enjoys playing the guitar, drums and sing, he also likes to practice Taekwondo and holds a 2nd degree black belt. He cherishes spending quality time with his family and values maintaining a well-balanced and active lifestyle.
